We are deeply grateful to our partners for the work done, their commitment to successfully concluding the project, and for the lovely time shared in Bielefeld, Germany.
The teacher training in Bielefeld, Germany, with our partners from the Critical Thinking & Media Literacy project concluded, leaving us with incredibly positive feelings and thoughts.
The event was immensely productive, assisting us in finalizing details regarding the production of units for our learning platform. We also reviewed the modules of the course we are creating. The participants' work was efficient and highly productive.
The Education and Training Committee discussed a proposal for an evaluation concept of the study materials, a template for Moodle description, a slight change in the wording of two modules on Fake News/Disinformation:
Part 1: Relevance, definition, formats and examples, Part 2: Measures and tools, and the agenda of next meeting.
Nine representatives of the project team attended the online meeting on 1st September 2023 and discussed issues connected with the access to the learning platform, the finalized versions of the components of each topic, the deadlines for the new tasks, the agenda and formalities about the teacher training in November in Germany.
The partners discussed the current status of the course development, the materials templates (PPT, video, quizzes, etc.), agreed on the roles and responsibilities of each team member, and set the deadlines and milestones for the next phase of the project.
The four partners held their second transnational project meeting in the realm of ancient Rome and took important decisions concerning their third project product, i.e. the course CRITICAL THINKING & MEDIA LITERACY. Link Campus University recently hosted an enlightening and engaging short-term joint staff training event, focusing on transforming teaching methods through the utilisation of Moodle and gamified learning.
The four partners viewed the preliminary questionnaire in terms of content and structure and everybody agreed on those two. It was decided the partners will have to conduct the survey within the next ten days. The former also finalized the topics to be included in the training program on OVP in June, Rome, the agenda for the training program, and the Quality Control Strategy Plan of the project. They also agreed on the selection criteria and procedure for participants in the mobilities.
The Italian and the Bulgarian partners met to dwell on issues connected with the teacher training in June 2023 in Rome. They discussed the structure of the training on OVP. The partners designed a draft of the training programme and uploaded it through Google to be shared with the rest of the project members so that they can review and give suggestions for modifications or editing or adding.
